What are Dynamic Dashboards?

Your Dashboards will be powered by the familiar Content Block Editor and the ever-adaptable dynamic options that it brings. This provides a super-flexible framework that can support a wide range of planned development that includes new blocks designed to enhance a variety of dynamic Dashboard functionalities.

How do I customize my Dynamic Dashboard?

You can create an unlimited number of Dashboards, each one with a specific purpose based on your needs. So, to get started, let’s introduce you to the Dashboards list.

You can get there by going to Content > Dashboards on the left-side menu.

From here, you will see the list of Dashboards. By default, you’ll only have two – one is the Fallback for Staff and Contact roles and the other is the Fallback for Super Admins.

WHAT IS A FALLBACK DASHBOARD?

A Fallback Dashboard is the Dashboard that your Contacts and Staff see when they first log in to their account if you have not assigned them any other Dashboards. If you do not make any edits to it the Dashboard will look like the image below.

The Super Admin Fallback Dashboard can only be seen by the Super Admin role and is a great resource to assist you in setting up your SuiteDash account.

Fallback Dashboards cannot be deleted, but they can be edited.

HOW DO I ADD A NEW DASHBOARD?

Click + ADD NEW to create a new Dashboard. The first thing you’ll notice under Dashboard Settings is that you need to add a Title for it.

Next, you will determine the priority for this dashboard. If you assign this Dashboard as the Highest Priority for a user this will be the default Dashboard that is displayed even if they have been assigned to other Dashboards due to Circle/Team/Role assignment.

Next, you’ll designate the Medium Priority users. This is assigned via Circles or Teams and will be displayed if the user is not directly assigned a Dashboard (High Priority).
