What is My Tasks?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0My Tasks<\/strong>\u00a0menu is where you will see all of the Tasks that are assigned to you. This includes Tasks from Projects, as well as any Tasks and reminders you create for yourself. When creating new Tasks from this menu, you will have the option to associate the Task with a particular\u00a0Project<\/strong>\u00a0and optionally assign the Task to someone besides yourself.<\/p>\n

My Tasks includes both\u00a0Public<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Private<\/strong>\u00a0Tasks.<\/p>\n

PRIVATE TASKS<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

These are Tasks that you create for yourself and cannot be seen by any other users. Private Tasks\u00a0cannot be made for another user. If you would like to make a Private Task Public you can do so by unchecking the box labeled:\u00a0\u00a0Make this a Private Task visible only to me<\/em>.<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT: Once a Task is set to Public it can NOT be set to Private again.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Super Admin<\/strong>,\u00a0Admin<\/strong>, and\u00a0Project Manager<\/strong>\u00a0roles can all create Private Tasks.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Salesperson<\/strong>,\u00a0Teammate<\/strong>, and\u00a0Freelancer<\/strong>\u00a0roles can also create Private Tasks. These roles do not have the option to make their Tasks Public so you will not see the checkbox that shows up for Super Admins, Admins, and Project Managers.<\/p>\n

Clients\u00a0<\/strong>can only create Private Tasks if that setting has been enabled.<\/p>\n

PUBLIC TASKS<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

These are Tasks that you create for yourself or another person that are visible to users who have access. The Public Tasks assigned to you will show up under My Tasks. Public Tasks can be reassigned to other users and can be moved between Projects as needed.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Super Admin<\/strong>,\u00a0Admin<\/strong>, and\u00a0Project Manager<\/strong>\u00a0roles can create Public Tasks for themselves and other users.<\/p>\n

How do I view My Tasks?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Navigate to\u00a0Projects > My Tasks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What is All Tasks?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0All Tasks<\/strong>\u00a0menu is a menu that is only available to the Super Admin, Admin(s), and Project Manager(s), where they can see all of the Tasks for their Projects.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0Super Admin<\/strong>\u00a0can see all Tasks from\u00a0all Projects in the platform<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

An\u00a0Admin<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Project Manager<\/strong>\u00a0can see all of the Tasks inside the\u00a0Projects they are assigned to\u00a0<\/strong>if this setting has been enabled. Otherwise, they can only see their Tasks in a Project.<\/p>\n

This includes all My Tasks, Public Tasks assigned to other users, and RE Tasks. Project Tasks assigned to other users will be visible depending on the individual settings for each Project.<\/p>\n
